Melanie melhall1975@gmail.com 04-28-2010 8:56:56 PM CST Comer and Jean~ I am so glad we can read your updates now :) Sorry to hear the PET scan was not as you expected and I know the wait is hard. I pray that God will comfort you and give you strength for the wait and I know that He is working all things for your good. It is great news that lymphnodes are still clear. God bless ya'll and please let us know if there is anything at all you need along the way.

Jean Stockman cjman@bellsouth.net 04-14-2010 6:23:45 PM CST Hi Everyone,
We did get good news from the CT scan. The next step is the PET scan on the 26th of this month. I see my Doctor on the 28th and we hope the PET scan is as good as the CT scan.
I am back at work now. It keeps me going because this Spring Term is about to end. I am also trying to do more at home but it’s going to take some time to get all my strength back.
I had a nuclear stress test yesterday. This was scheduled because of the overnight stay in the hospital with chest pains Easter weekend. The Doctor wanted to do this as a precautionary measure but he does not feel it is heart trouble. We will know for sure in a couple of days when we get the results.
I appreciate all your concerns and prayers. The good news cannot be possible without God. He is great.
See you soon,
Jean

It was good to hear the trip to the emergency room on 4/4 was not a heart attack. I have both of you in my prayers-cancer is not nice. Having been through a serious illness with my husband several years back, I know how frustrating it can be. Both of you are missed. Ann Leithauser

Jean Stockman cjman@bellsouth.net 03-21-2010 8:06:59 AM CST Hello everyone,
Spring Break was great. I’ve been so busy trying to work I didn’t realize I needed to rest so much. I’m not sure about working next week because I am slow and have no energy from the chemo and very uncomfortable from the radiation burns.
My radiologist decided to give me a break from radiation this week since I am burnt so badly. I will have five boost radiation treatments that start Monday and end Friday. I should get the chemo pump removed Friday also.
Please keep me in your prayers as I continue treatments and that the treatments will be successful. I could not go through these treatments without God and all of you. Thank you so much.
Mary Wolfe 03-18-2010 9:19:05 PM CST you continue to be in the prayers of people at Prattville Promenaders....thanks for the thank you card....it was passed around tonight
