Jean, I work with Comer. I am office manager at the Anniston branch. I have heard a lot about you from Comer. He shares square dancing stories and pictures. I feel as if I know you. I have been thinking about you lately and praying for both of you. I wanted to share something the lord laid on my heart this morning. My husband and I have a friend that had cancer. She has been in remission for about four years. She told me something that meant so much to her during her treatments. She said my husband, Jimmy, had shared something with her that that really brought her through her treatments. I wanted to share this with you. She said Jimmy told her to find one healing scripture from the Bible, just one. She prayed and felt the Lord leading her to one scripture. This became her personal healing scripture. Jimmy said if one scripture has the power to lead you to salvation. one can lead you to your healing. God used that one scripture to bring her through. God Bless You!

Hi Everyone, I had my second chemo pump refill and sixth radiation treatment today. It was not quite as depressing in the chemo treatment room this week. I could relax more. I have been doing okay so far with no major side effects, but the Doctor keeps saying that will change and I will have some worse days ahead. I appreciate all calls, cards, e-mails, visits and posted messages. Thank you so much for you concerns and friendship.

Jean: I agree with Linda. I told Tom at the last Dixie Plus which we danced with John and Linda that it just isn't the same without you guys and how much entertainment you provided for me however selfish that sounds. I miss you guys, monday nights, tuesday nights, and our dances in Birmingham but I know you have to concentrate on getting well and that is the most important. Comer I know sometimes the husband gets left out in stuff like this and I have asked you how you are doing? I know this is hard for you and you are Jean's support system along with the rest of us. I love you guys.

Hi Everyone, I had my first chemo and radiation treatments today. This was quiet an experience. It was very depressing in the chemo treatment room seeing all the cancer patients there. This has given me a different outlook on life and how important each day is. Please keep praying for me. I have several more weeks to go and the Doctor says I will feel better after the first few treatments, but then will get worst for the remainder of the treatments. I appreciate all calls, cards, e-mails, and posted messages. Thank you so much.

Dancing at Dixie Plus just wasn't the same without y'all. But I know you'll be back just as soon as you can. Cathy Stephens said to call if you needed anything. She'll even clean your house - now that's an offer you cant refuse. Nina Bonds says they're thinking of you both and send prayers for your quick recovery. I didn't realize how much y'all contributed to my fun and entertainment until we had to hit the 'pause' button. Can't wait for the Saturday's, parades, street dances, round dancing, and on and on and on to start back up again. Love you both.

It is wonderful to have so many people who care and are praying for us. We appreciate all the thoughts, prayers and concerns as well as the many cards and phone calls.
